Everglades Adventure

 

Our Everglades Adventure will take you to one of the world’s most unique ecosytems. The Everglades and the Ten Thousand Islands feature breathtaking panoramic views, lush vegetation and tranquility. You will be amidst alligators, native flora and fauna, as well as other exotic wildlife in their subtropical habitat as you ride through the River of Grass system.  A must-see for visitors to Florida!

 

Our excursion includes lunch; a 60-minute airboat ride; and bottled water aboard the round-trip bus ride.

 

Please wear casual clothing and comfortable shoes.  Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen are strongly recommended.

Vizcaya Museum
Villa Vizcaya Museum & Fairchild Tropical Garden

 

Vizcaya is a National Historic Landmark, built by American industrialist James Deering and designed to resemble a self-sufficient Italian villa.  Vizcaya is a serene and beautiful rtreat from the bustle of modern Miami.  After a guided tour of the mansion and its art and furnishings, you will have time to enjoy the extraordinary estate’s waterside views and lush gardens.  The second-half of our outing will take place at Fairchild Tropical Garden, as you will receive a tram tour of one of the premier conservation and education-based gardens in the world.

 

Our excursion includes a gourmet buffet lunch after arrival at Fairchild.  Guests who which to return early to the hotel may choose to return directly from Vizcaya (skipping lunch), or immediately following lunch at the Fairchild.

 

Please wear casual clothing and comfortable shoes.  Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen are strongly recommended.

 

Departure:     9:15 AM

Return:           3:30 PM

CrandonKayak

Key Biscayne Kayaking at Crandon Park

 

For a more active outing, you are invited to kayak on the beautiful shallow waters of Key Biscayce and explore the protected areas of Bear Cut Preserve where land meets the sea.  Join us as we discover the tropical fish, spotted eagle rays, sea stars, and coastal birds that share this fragile and unique environment.

 

Our excursion includes lunch, all kayak rental fees, a naturalist guide to conduct our tour, and two bottled waters per person.

 

Closed toe shoes are required.  Guests should wear comfortable clothing, and bring bathing shorts/suits and a change of clothes. Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen are strongly recommended.

Cuban Heritage Tour
 
Since the Castro revolution in Cuba in 1959, wave after wave of Cuban refugees have transformed Miami into the Capital of the Americas, a fast-paced, internationally connected commercial and entertainment hub.

 

From the food, to the fashion scene, to the art and music on the street, Miami now pulses with a unique blended culture. Our Cuban Heritage Tour will journey through the story of Miami’s Cuban community. We will visit Miami’s own version of the Statue of Liberty, a well-loved marketplace, great Cuban food spots, moving monuments, lively street scenes and a place of spiritual reflection.

 

Take in the smells, sights, sounds and colors of a street that launched the dramatic transformation of Miami nearly half a century ago, and prepare for a day of discovery of fun.

 

Departs: 10:00 a.m.

Returns: 3:00 p.m.

Experience an ideal day out in the sparkling blue waters of the coast of South Florida. Head out aboard our fabulous 55-foot luxury sailing catamaran. A day onboard comes complete with a spacious sundeck, shaded seating area, two large restrooms, and a convenient serving bar. The boat also features unique schooner rigging, making the experience of sailing out on the waters all the more authentic. A lunch buffet is included.
