Majhi Pargana Mahal app launched in Ghatshila

Ranchi, June 26: The need of the hour is not only to keep the traditional self-government system of the tribal society intact, but also to strengthen it further.

This was expressed by Chief Minister Hemant Soren during the closing ceremony of the two-day mahasammelan of Majhi Pargana Mahal, Dhad Dishom at Ghatshila on Sunday as the chief guest.

The Chief Minister said that the in-depth discussions and reflections carried out by all the tribal traditional leaders on many important topics including the economic, socio-political and traditional system of the Santhali tribal society, art-culture, education and health in this Mahasammelan, are the Sandal Tribal Society systems.

“It’s a great initiative to improve it. Whatever cooperation is required from the government in this episode will be fulfilled,” Soren said.

The chief minister said that the struggle of the tribals is their identity. They have long protested against injustice.

“We can never forget the contribution of our brave tribal sons in the struggle for the freedom of the country. Jharkhand must be made of the dreams of these great men and martyrs. The government is determined to do this. Today, we should all be inspired by them and follow the paths they showed us,” Soren added.

The Chief Minister said the doors of employment have been opened in the state. The process of filling vacancies in government services has been initiated. At the same time, for self-employment, youths are given between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 25 lakh under the Chief Minister’s Job Generation Scheme. He said that many programs have been initiated for the advancement of the tribal society in the field of education. Scholarships are awarded to ST students for postgraduate study abroad. It is our effort for the tribal society to walk step by step with everyone and move forward.

The Chief Minister launched the application of Majhi Pargana Mahal, Dhad Dishom on this occasion. In this way, the Santal tribal society has arrived on a digital platform. Now information about the system and activities of this company can be viewed through the application.

The chief minister presented the appointment letter to Kapra Hansda, the mother of martyr Ganesh Hansda in this Mahasammelan. The Chief Minister honored the martyr’s father Subada Hansda and his brother Dinesh Hansda on this occasion. You should know that on June 15 and 16, 2020, Ganesh Hansda, a brave son of the Indian army, was martyred while facing Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley.
