State Housing Entity Researches Information About Potential New Computer System

The public entity responsible for promoting safe and affordable housing and vibrant, sustainable communities is seeking information from IT providers for a new online system.
In a request for information (RFI) released Friday, the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) requests comment on “preliminary requirements, state terms and conditions, project timeline” and budget. project for a proposed computer system that would enhance or create “a new web-accessible solution to streamline the business process, reduce manual paper-based activities and enable clients and partners to submit registrations, payments, title transfers, online requests and reports ”. - HCD needs a public portal capable of providing self-service to “clients and partners” to complete online registration, payments, title transfers, requests and reports. It should also allow people to submit building permit applications, payments and documents for plan review and inspection requests.
