Fobi AI Inc. Provides Checkpoint Digital Ticketing System to Support Adam Hadwin Charity Golf Tournament

Fobi AI (TSX-V: FOBI, OTCQB: FOBIF) Inc, a provider of artificial intelligence data analytics to drive customer engagement, has revealed that it is supporting the Greater Vancouver Charity Invitational Golf Tournament ( GVCI) by Adam Hadwin with its digital ticketing and Checkpoint commitment to the solution.

The tournament will take place September 1, 2022 at Morgan Creek Golf Course with proceeds going to CHILD Foundationwho seeks to find a cure for children suffering from intestinal or liver disorders.

The event, which has been canceled for the past two years due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, previously used paper tickets. By implementing Fobi’s Checkpoint solution this year, organizers have created an end-to-end digital ticketing and engagement solution that makes the registration and check-in process seamless and easy for attendees.

They simply download their event pass into the mobile wallet that comes with each smartphone. This allows organizers to scan it when they arrive at the event, using Fobi’s SmartScan software which works on any mobile phone or tablet.

The Vancouver-based data intelligence and digital wallet pass company noted that Checkpoint also allows organizers to get visibility into and engage with all of their attendees. Previously, with paper tickets, tournament organizers often only got the contact details of the person who purchased a foursome for the tournament.

With Checkpoint, however, tournament organizers will now obtain contact details for all participants. This will allow them to send out regular messages ahead of the September 1st event, keeping attendees updated on what’s going on with the event and any changes to the agenda. Messages will also be sent to all attendees during the event, letting them know when and where events are taking place.

Fobi said organizers will also be able to have their sponsors reach out to all attendees, creating another potential revenue stream that will also help boost the charity’s income.

GVCI Organizer Gerry Hadwin said, “Fobi’s Checkpoint solution has been a great way to get our tournament going again after a few years of shutdown due to COVID. Taking all of our paper-based assets and processes and digitizing them has made it much easier to manage registrations and records and access to contact information for all attendees is huge for us.

He added, “Plus, we’re able to keep our attendees informed and generate increased revenue for CHILD, which is what it’s all about.”

Meanwhile, Fobi CEO Rob Anson said supporting the GVCI Charity Golf Tournament with Checkpoint was an easy decision.

“Our sponsorship with Adam is very important to us, as are the charities he supports. Being able to help GVCI organizers create a better experience for attendees and generate additional revenue for CHILD is something we are very proud of,” he added.
